Mike Marcom, Owner and Certified Aquascape Contractor
Mike, Backyard Concepts owner, is our fearless leader. His dream is to build beautiful, functional water features that everyone can enjoy. He is a devoted water garden enthusiast and a master waterfall builder. Mike designs and supervises installation. He loves to talk about water gardens and is a frequent speaker on the subject.

Carla Marcom, Owner and Finance Manager
Backyard Concepts employees have one thing in common -- they are all 'outdoor lovers'. They would rather be outdoors and filthy dirty than anywhere else. Carla is our one exception and the only one who will almost always be clean and her nails... perfect! She is the glue that keeps everything running smoothly.

Vivian Skelton- Aquatic Nursery
Vivian is a Master Gardener and our Aquatic Plant Specialist. Not only does she maintain our Aquatic Retail Nursery but also maintains the Aquatic Plants in our own Display Ponds. If you have questions about caring for or placement of aquatic plants, direct your questions to Vivian.
